STUDIO DANCE

Designing the interiors of dance studios and dance schools implies the obligatory observance of a number of rules and nuances. And the matter is not even in the style of the interior, which may differ depending on the directions of the dances taught, the location of the dance studio or its size. And in a number of unshakable “whales”, on which the design of such premises rests.

First of all, these are large spaces with high ceilings. The parquet should be laid with special floating installation, and the walls, if necessary, are sheathed with soft panels.

For dance schools and studios must be good ventilation, which could serve the entire area of the room. But the windows are, rather, a “bonus”, which in daylight can transform the interior, make it original and unique, as well as inspire creativity.

But it is also important to have good lighting, so that in the dark, when daylight is not enough, there are no dark corners in the room, and the light is distributed over the whole area of the room. It is important to be able to adjust the intensity of the light so that the lighting can be both bright and muted. The same applies to acoustics – the sound should be uniform over the area of the whole room, and the regulation of its volume should be affordable and not difficult to operate.

The room for dance classes requires the presence of mirrors, which can be around the perimeter of the entire room. It is also nice to have curtains or their analogues, which could close some of the mirrors, if required by classes.

Also, when designing, depending on the direction of the dances taught in the room, it is important to provide a dance machine or pylon.
